As an order picker, you will help with day-to-day logistics tasks. Your duties will include:

• Order picking

• Storing goods in the correct location (put-away)

• Packing orders and preparing them for dispatch

• Loading and unloading

• General support within the warehouse

However, our client is looking for more than just someone who carries out the traditional tasks of an order picker. They are looking for a reliable and proactive person who takes the initiative, thinks along with the organisation and may be able to take on additional responsibilities in the future.

You'll start as an order picker and be given the chance to prove yourself. Depending on your commitment, abilities and performance, you may gradually be given more responsibility and have the opportunity to progress within the organisation. This is not a guarantee, but depends entirely on your own abilities and commitment.

your profile

• You are motivated, reliable and have a strong work ethic.

• You like to take the initiative and don't wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done.

• You are responsible and can work independently.

• You have the ambition to develop yourself and, in time, take on more responsibility.

• Experience in logistics is an advantage, but not a requirement.

• Motivated school leavers or candidates who are deliberately choosing a more hands-on role are also eligible.

• You speak Dutch, English or French. A good knowledge of two languages is a major asset for communication in the workplace.
