For an innovative company, near Gent, that is dedicated to making the automotive industry possible we are looking for Maintenance Technicians.

You will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery.

Using computerised systems, you'll oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.

Communicate with suppliers to ensure the production line equipment.

PURPOSE:

Execute the mechanical maintenance works assigned in the plant considering in its execution the compliance with the quality, safety, environment and health policies of the company

RESPONSIBILITY:

– Execute preventive maintenance work, corrective equipment according to the schedule and maintenance planning

– Identify the resources needed to carry out the assigned tasks (spare parts, materials, services, inputs).

– Correct use of the resources in your charge (Tools and Assigned Equipment) assuring your longest life.

– Complete the assigned work order forms, as well as the associated protocols or reports that have been requested for the execution of their work

– Make the return of spare parts, components and materials derived from a change or repair in plant to the warehouse, in order to ensure its proper classification or final disposal

– Detect and propose opportunities for improvement in the execution of maintenance

– Participate in the elaboration of work procedures or instructions for the tasks associated with their specialty

– Identify and propose to the Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance, Maintenance Procedures that allow to assure that the policies and guidelines of the company are fulfilled in the execution of the maintenance

Experience / Knowledge

- +3 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions

- Advanced skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, basic skills in electricity, medium voltage, high voltage

- Intermediate English

- Teamwork skills

Schedule: 3 shifts
